If you have a past booking on hold, then you can book into a future tour using that credit.  The first job is to decide what tour you want to do and then let us know a date you would like to attend.  We will then manually move your booking to the new date you have requested.  It is possible to use credit for any tour you like.  In other words, you don't have to do the tour that you had first booked.  Please chose between the "Meet an Actor" tour and the "Filming Very Likely" tour which are both described on the Location Tours page of this website. 

Yes, unless the weather is so severe and it is dangerous to travel, then we will always run the tour.  We have run tours in torrential rain before and there is still filming!

It is important to note that the best part of the “Meet an Actor” tour starts at the Rocks.  This is because an actor gets on the tour there to personally greet the customers. 

From the Rocks, the actor stays on the bus and chats to the customers/answering questions as we drive towards Palm Beach. 

Before arriving at Palm Beach we stop at another beach so that fans can get photos with the actor and spend more time with them. 

You are welcome to join the tour at the beach where we take photos with the actor, or you may prefer to enjoy the full experience with the actor and meet us at the Rocks. 

Once we have had photos with the actor at the beach, we then part company with the actor.  They head back to the city in a car and the tour continues on up to Palm Beach.

If you are attending the "Filming" tour with us and want to meet us at Palm Beach, then you will miss out on various Home and Away houses and lots of commentary. 

Children are classed as 5-13 years old.  Children are half the price of the adult ticket.  Infants less than 5 are free of charge.

We only know about a week or 2 before hand, exactly which actor will be on the tour.  We are very much governed by actor availability.  We certainly can't tell you who the actor is going to be months ahead of time.

Gift vouchers are available to purchase.  They only come as adult seats and gift vouchers last 6 months, (although they can be extended).  They can be used for either of the Location Tours that we run. 

The "Filming Very Likely” tour runs on MOST Tuesdays throughout the year. Very occasionally, filming is expected but it gets cancelled. In this instance, the tour reverts to being a "Meet an Actor" tour. The "Meet an Actor" tour has the same content as the "Filming Very Likely" tour, but instead of there being filming, a high profile actor will be present on part of the tour. In the event that an actor can not attend the tour, then $30 per adult and $15 per child will be refunded back to the customer on request.  

Our bus does NOT have a hoist, so anyone in a wheel chair would have to be able to get out of their wheelchair, walk 4 steps into the bus and occupy one of the seats.  We do however have plenty of room to store wheel chairs under the bus if necessary.  The tour is entirely wheelchair friendly.  We also drop off at Manly Wharf which gives easy access to the ferry back to the city.

We unfortunately do not accept companion cards however we do offer 50% off the price of an adult ticket for any carers or support workers who attend the tour.

To obtain the half price ticket, please be sure to count the carer/support worker as a “Child” at the time of booking. 

The "Meet an Actor" tour boasts approximately 1.5 hours quality time with an actor.  The "Filming Very Likely" tour which has the same itinerary as the "Meet an Actor" tour does not have guaranteed time with an actor.  This tour is very much a gamble.  Guests can see lots of filming and gets lots of pics with actors, or sometimes things just unfortunately don't go our way.  Please decide which is the best tour for you by reading about them on the Location Tours page of this website.

Lunch is not included on the tours.  We strongly recommend that guests bring their own lunch.  Food options at Palm Beach can be unpredictable and there can potentially be long waits for food when the kiosk is open.

The drop off point is at Manly Beach approx. 3.30pm.

Very sadly in 2022 the Bait Shop and the Pier/Diner were demolished in real life.  We still get to see other parts of Summer Bay, including the Summer Bay Surf Club, surrounding area and some famous Home and Away houses. 

Filming occurs all year round, however there are a few weeks due to public holidays when there is no filming.  There is also a 3-4 week period over Christmas and 2 week period over July.  Dates vary from year to year, so unfortunately we don't know exactly until nearer the time.
